Feast is back with a real treat

THE Feast is back after two long years and the Tasman Peninsula community is determined to make it bigger and better. Gates open at 4pm on Saturday, January 28, with music and entertainment that will continue throughout the afternoon and evening.

The children’s entertainment has been ramped up with the Make Believe Pirate Show for the kids as well as Devine Face Painting, the Discovery Park Rangers, giant connect four, mini golf and Jenga. There will also be Tea Cup Rides which will free in the afternoon.

“Mum and Dad can sit back and relax while enjoying entertainment such as Solace with Ali Hart and Kate Vertigan, the Navy Band and Peninsula Singers and covers bands, End of Conversation and Steele Rose,’’ organisers said.

“There may even be a surprise or two throughout the evening to keep everyone on their toes. “And, of course, you cannot forget the great selection of food and drink that will be on offer during the event from vendors near and far.

“Another great service that has been added is a bus service coming from Sorell to the Feast and looping around the Peninsula throughout the event.

“We think tickets will sell fast and once they are gone they are gone so don’t miss out if you are intent on enjoying a couple of quiet drinks.

“Tickets are also available for the service by scanning the QR code or heading to the Tasman Peninsula Feast Facebook page. “It is wonderful to see the whole community supporting the comeback of this wonderful event.’’

The event will be held at the Nubeena Recreation Grounds from 4 pm to 10 pm.
