ON the back of being named one of the five best luxury retreats in Australia by Gourmet Traveller Magazine, a few days later, Kittawa Lodge was named as the accommodation of choice in Tasmania by Forbes Magazine in the US, when Tasmania was selected as one of the top 23 places to visit in the world in 2023.
Aaron Suine and Nick Stead praised their team for their hard work and commitment. “We work tirelessly to showcase the very best of King Island and Tasmania to our guests. Our week went from the sublime to the unreal.
“Receiving this international recognition is an absolute honour and a true testament to our hard-working and dedicated team.
“Each of these recognitions shine the light on King Island as a premier destination, and we are hopeful will result in more bookings from higher yield visitors, who will spend longer and spend more in our community.”
Travel has returned, and on top of the world list selection, Forbes Magazine also featured the teaming up of Kittawa and the Tasman Luxury Collection Hotel located on Hobart’s waterfront and their brand-new four- night luxury itinerary and package valid to November.
Labelled “Tasmania’s two finest hotels,” guests will enjoy the fine dining, and night in Hobart, private transfer and Taste of Tasmania lunch at Stillwater restaurant, Launceston and then spend three nights at Kittawa to experience a wild and remote, unique, and bespoke King Island experience
