Arts and crafts keep peninsula in the swim

THE Tasman Art and Craft Exhibition 2023 is back following a two-year hiatus due to the Covid pandemic.

The event is proudly presented by Lions Club of Tasman Swimming Pool Association. This annual event is celebrating its 38th year and is a wonderful opportunity to view and support more than 60 exhibitors, all local and Tasmanian artists and artisans.

The exhibition is presented by the Lions Club of Tasman and the fundraising is dedicated to ensuring the Lions of Tasman Community Swimming Pool continues to be a wonderful asset to the Tasman Community. Funds raised go toward ongoing maintenance and improvements, replacement of infrastructure supported by a small dedicated group of volunteers.

Generous sponsorship offers artists and artisans an array of awards, including People’s Choice, The Lola Smith Perpetual Award, The Pauline Kemp Perpetual Award and The Tasman Award, an acquisitive award receiving $800 in prize money sponsored by the Tasman Council.
